Although it was a rainy, gloomy Sunday in Rockford, the rain did step aside to allow the first Wisconsin Challenge Series race of the year. On Saturday, Nathan qualified 5th out of 46 cars. This put him in a 10th place starting position for Sunday’s 150 lap race. At the half-way break Nathan made his way up to 4th position. By lap 116 he made it up to 2nd position and needed a caution to get closer to the leader, Steve Rubeck. That caution would not come but Nathan held his position and finished 2nd. Nathan and the Swiss Colony racing team were very pleased with the finish and the entire weekend. For more information on the race check out Wisconsin Challenge Series’ website.

The next race for Nathan will be the Twin 75s at Slinger Super Speedway on April 23rd. Hope to see you there.
