Friday night at MIS featured the super late models in the Champions’ Invitational 100. For Nathan and The Swiss Colony Team, the night started out questionable when carburetor issues arose during practice. But the team worked on the car enabling Nathan to get fast time. This would put Nathan in the 13th place starting position for the race. It did not take long for Nathan to head to the front and by lap 52 he took over the lead and would remain there until the checkered flag.
A special thanks goes out to the family of Justin Holmes.
WCS AT THE DELLS
Nathan and the team headed to the Dells Motor Speedway on Saturday to compete in the Wisconsin Challenge Series. Nathan qualified 2nd, however, rain would delay the race until Sunday afternoon. With much better weather, Nathan started the race in 9th place. Again, he headed to the front but while running 2nd would run into ignition problems, putting him out of the race.
ALL-STAR CHALLENGE
On Tuesday, June 27th, Nathan and the team competed at MIS with the ASA Late Model in the All-Star Challenge featuring Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart. After starting the race in the 22nd position, Nathan made his way to finishing in 10th place.
Next race is at MIS on Friday night with the ASA Late Model. Also Nathan will be competing at Slinger on Sunday with the Super Late Model.
